One day in 2002 in Atlanta, Michigan, six guys were sitting around
discussing their love of old classic cars. Resulting from that day of
friendship and common admiration for the ol' autos was the birth of the Elk
Country Cruisers Car Club. The guys would get together on occasion and
go riding on a sunny day in their renovated old vehicles and reminisce of
days gone by.
Today the Elk Country Cruisers is 44+ members strong (plus spouses and
significant others) with a large variety of old makes and models of
automobiles in a rainbow of shiny colors and artful creations. Each year
during spring, summer and autumn the Cruisers take part in local car
shows as well as some state wide events proudly taking many top prize and
Our elected club President is Earl Juergens, Vice President is Bill Esper,
Secretary is Al Price and Treasurer is John Clark. Our club members gather
every third Tuesday from April till September to discuss club matters.
